When speaking about a country's superpowers, we should take a variety of factors into consideration. But I suppose that a country's superpowers depends on its position in the world arena, on its international image. If you want to and try to, you can impose nearly any kind of some opinion on people.
I really appreciate what has been said at the end of the clip: "We live in an age when the world is a lot smaller so it's time to transcend nationalism..." I am convinced this ability can in fact put a country in the top list as a superpower. To go beyond the chauvinistic ideals and to view the international cooperation as the sole beneficial factor for a country to rise up means to reach the first step of the ladder to prosperity and social health.
What makes a country a superpower? My answer is a good political system, developed economy and of course cultural achivements. These things can lead any country to success.
