absolutely agree with Asya. I like this brief explanation of the whole process of the creation. To my mind we should explain our children how the world was created according to different aspects - science and religion. Time will pass and the child will understand which way, which aspect is closer to him.
I don't think that we should EXPLAIN (don't mix up with "narrate"!) children how the world was created from the religious point of view at all. We can explain to them that there are different opinions and tell them everything as a kind of fairy-tale, using the Biblical stories, Ancient myths and, maybe, adopted scientific info. btw, nothing should be taken for granted. in this case children won't come across this "destruction of one's world view".
>I think it could be used when explaining little children how the planet and all living creatures were created
Aha, in the third form we show them a movie where everything on earth was created by God, and in the seventh we tell them that all the living creatures including us are the result of the evolution, according to Darvin's theory... Doesn't it look like lying about the stork who brings children and Father Frost? Finally children get disappointed about such things! Nobody who is 16, believes in Father Frost, because he or she knows, that presents are bought by parents. How will you explain to your children that Darvin's evolution is nonsence and the biblical creation is true, when the child gets the information about the evolution after waching this video?
I liked it! The creation story in brief. I think it could be used when explaining little children how the planet and all living creatures were created. It is so kind! I think such videos should be shown to children if we want them to be truly interested in studying religion afterwards.
