I must say that these days my mind is overwhelmed by a very interesting and flexible music genre - drum and bass or simply D'n'B. It plays in my headphones, my acoustic system and in my head practically everytime. DnB is a type of electronic dance music which emerged in the mid 1990s. The genre is characterized by fast breakbeats (typically between 160–190 bpm(beats per minute), with heavy bass and sub bass lines. There are of cource dozens and eved hundreds of different sub-styles of D'n'B but I wont write 'bout all of it - if interesting - just ask Google)). Lots of people say and think that DnB is a very hard and tough music style and it is made only to jerk to it on the dancefloor. But it is totally wrong. For example a german band Phoneheads, who play live DnB is the best music for me to relax - their style is so airy and nontensive! By the way there is a new member in my band - Rustam Mansurov, also known as DJ Rusty K is a very gifted music writer who started making music since he was 9 years old concerning himself mostly with drum and bass. So at the moment our band is catching it's second wind - we are going to experiment with d'n'b, dubstep, house, indie, funk and rock in order to make a flexible stuff, a kind of symbiosis of styles which will be valued both by rock listeners and sophisticated electro-music fans!
P.S. Here is a symbiosis of german DnB project Phoneheads and the Dusseldorf Symphonic Orchestra - enjoy and comment upon))) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5wO2eu5HnJc
