Dogs 'distressed' by break-ins at Uddingston centre
Dogs 'distressed' by break-ins(вламываться) at Uddingston centre
Dogs at a rescue centre have been left "distressed and terrified" after three break-ins over Christmas.

On police advice, staff have closed the Dogs Trust rehoming centre at Uddingston, Lanarkshire, while investigations are carried out(выполнять).

The attacks on the centre targeted(целевой) the office area and items including computers have been stolen.

The police have said they believe the incidents are linked, and have appealed for information.

Sandra Lawton, the centre manager, said: "My team and I are heart-broken. Some of our dogs nearest to the areas of the break-ins are now showing signs of distress and were clearly terrified by the intruders(злоумышленник).

"In time and with help we will be able to clear up the centre but our priority(приоритет) is ensuring our dogs feel settled and calm again.

"We try and make sure the dogs have the best possible Christmas whilst(пока) they are with us - but this year some truly(действительно) evil people have made this impossible."

Insp John Gormlie of Strathclyde Police said: "We are continuing extensive inquiries into the three incidents of housebreaking(грабеж со взломом)( at the Dog's Trust in Uddingston, and as part of this we are working very closely with the management of the centre to provide(давать) security and crime prevention advice.

"We believe that all three incidents are linked and I would urge(советовать) anyone who has information on those responsible for these despicable crimes against the charity to get in touch with police."

It's awfull. People who did it have not conscience. The police should help the centre.

What is the name of the centre?

It's a terrible incident. I hope that police will deal with it. It's bad when such crimes happen in New Year's eve.
