The most beautiful place on Earth is Paris. Last year I visited this magical city, so it is really so. It is the city of eternal beauty, incandescent romance and unforgettable history, Paris, has a surprise for every demanding tourist. Unfortunately I can not explore every square inch of the city. However, there are a few famous tourist attractions there that tourists cannot miss out. The opulent architecture, exotic culinary varieties and the mere brilliance of its vibrant culture is a breathtaking sight that captures your mind forever and ever. La Tour Eiffel Needless to say that this is the number one tourist attraction in France. Built in 1889, by Gustave Eiffel, as an entrance arch for the World's Fair, today the tower makes a mighty contribution to national pride. La Tour Eiffel is definitely a place you've got to visit, if you are visiting France. But for me it was rather difficult to be on it, I’m afraid of heights) Musée du Louvre The largest palace museum, Louvre is host to some of most coveted and famous paintings in the world. Its exhibits include Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci and some other remarkable works by Botticelli, Raphael and Michelangelo. The palatial museum also includes Greek, Etruscan, Roman and Egyptian antiquities. But it is better to book tickets beforehand, otherwise you’ll stand in a queue there for more than 2 hours! Cathédrale Notre Dame de Paris The Gothic Roman Catholic cathedral, literally translates as 'Our Lady of Paris' in English. This cathedral beats Eiffel tour in terms of visitors, which are somewhere around 13 million. Louis VII started building the cathedral in 1163, which was finally completed around 1345 by the fourth architect. A victim to the French Revolution and several other scars, the structure is a living relic. No wonder it's included in the popular tourist attractions in France. This cathedral made the greatest impression on me, you can not imagine how many details are there, it can not be described. Arc du Triomphe One of the most famous France tourist attractions, Arc du Triomphe is originally known as Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile. Situated at the center of Palace Charles de Gaulle, it gives a spectacular view of the western end of Champs-Élysées. This triumphal arch honors the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in Napoleonic wars and World War I. Versailles The Palace of Versailles is an impressive château, which served as the center of political power, when Louis XIV moved in from Paris. Today the château is not just a symbol of opulent architecture but of absolute monarchy too. It's outstandingly built which will surely captivate you and teleport you to a time which is trapped in history.
