В письме, направленном в четверг генеральному секретарю ООН Пан Ги Муну, председателю Совета Безопасности ООН Виталию Чуркину и председателю 66-й сессии Генеральной Ассамблеи ООН Нассиру Абдулазизу аль-Нассеру, постоянный представитель Ирана при ООН Мoхаммaд Хазаи привлек внимание мирового сообщества к «провокационным и тайным операциям правительства США против Исламской Республики Иран, которые участились и усилились в последние месяцы», передает ИТАР-ТАСС.
В письме сообщается, что «недавно американский шпионский самолет-беспилотник RQ-170, несущий конкретный серийный номер, нарушил воздушное пространство Ирана».
«Этот самолет проделал над иранской территорией расстояние в 250 км, долетев до расположенного на севере города Табас, где он встретил незамедлительный и решительный отпор со стороны вооруженных сил ИРИ», – отмечается в документе.
«Мое правительство подчеркивает, что это вопиющее и неспровоцированное нарушение воздушного пространства правительством США равносильно враждебному акту против Исламской Республики Иран, предпринятому в нарушение международного права, в том числе основополагающих принципов Устава ООН, – говорится в документе. – Иран оставляет за собой право принять все необходимые меры по защите своего национального суверенитета».
Посол призвал международное сообщество «принять четкие и эффективные меры с целью положить конец этим опасным и незаконным актам в соответствии с ответственностью, возложенной на ООН, по поддержанию международного и регионального мира и безопасности в соответствии с буквой и духом Устава ООН».

The document says, "My government emphasize that this is an outrageous and unprovoked violation of the air space of Iran that is equal to a hostile act against the Islamic Republic of Iran. Iran reserves the right to take all the necessary steps to protect its national sovereignty”
The ambassador urged the world community to take efficient measures to put an end to dangerous and illegal acts in accordance to the responsibility imposed on the UN to maintain international and regional peace and safety in compliance with the Charter of the UN.
