National Geographic Traveler magazine has placed the Norwegian fjords, a highlight of Hurtigruten’s Coastal Voyage, at the top of its list of the world’s most celebrated travel destinations. This is the third time in the six-year history of the venerated magazine’s "Places Rated” Destination Stewardship survey that the Norwegian fjords have topped the list. Fjords are formed when a glacier cuts a v-shaped valley by abrasion of the surrounding bedrock. Many such valleys were formed during the recent ice age.
I've read about Fjords in the magazine "Around The World". And I adore Norway with its Fjords, snow, mountains very much (since I started watching biathlon). I think that nature in Scandinavia is very beautiful. So I'd like to visit such places as in the pictures very much.
OMG!!!.... I've been dreaming about these fjords for almost two years... My Norway-addiction appeared when my friend (who's mad about North, snow and Vikings))) showed me some photos... they looked like your ones))) such a magnificent landscape made me astonished... I'm in love with fjords, I honestly admit it hope one day I'll see them with my own eyes
I will, Max)))) just read this article and fell in love with it))) very nice, mmmm, fresh air, water, mountains...well, i'm packing my bags already n you?
Oh, i've been looking forward to visiting the Fjordes since the moment i learned about them. More then that, it's not so difficult to go to Norway. Who would go with me, eh??))
