Gotye track is biggest seller of 2012 so far
Gotye's Somebody That I Used To Know is the UK's biggest selling single of 2012 so far. The Official Charts Company says the track, which also features New Zealand singer Kimbra, has sold 1.28m copies. Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe is the second biggest song of the year, followed by We Are Young by Fun featuring Janelle Monae. The same three tracks are also 2012's most played songs around the world on Spotify. Jessie J and Emile Sande are the only British artists to make the chart top ten. Somebody That I Used To Know is one of just 123 songs to sell one million copies in the 60-year history of the Official Singles Chart. It was released in 2011 but topped the singles chart for five weeks in February, and was nominated for Best Song at the recent MTV Europe Music Awards. However, December is traditionally the biggest month of the year for record sales, and several upcoming (предстоящие) releases - including the Hillsborough charity(благотворительность) single and the X Factor winners' song - could break into the best-seller list. This year's Christmas number one will be revealed(показать) on Sunday 23 December, with the final chart of the year on 30 December. Last year's biggest selling single was Adele's Someone Like You. The top ten in full: 1 Somebody That I Used To Know - Gotye 2 Call Me Maybe - Carly Rae Jepsen 3 We Are Young - Fun ft. Janelle Monae 4 Titanium - David Guetta ft. Sia 5 Starships - Nicki Minaj 6 Domino - Jessie J 7 Payphone - Maroon 5 ft. Wiz Khalifa 8 Wild Ones - Flo Rida ft. Sia 9 Gangnam Style - Psy 10 Next To Me - Emile Sande

Another article about music I like listening to music. "Somebody That I Used To Know" is my favourite song! But, to tell the truth, I like listening to this song performed by Matt Bomer and Darren Criss. I think that their version is much better.
