Today we will speak about graffiti. I know that we discussed it a lot two years ago but the theme about graffiti is still popular. Well, here we wont discuss whether graffiti is a kind of vandalism or not. Here I will tell you about different styles of graffiti and show them. May be some of you remember my report about graffiti that i made in our English classes a year ago. But i didnt have a chance to tell you everything that i wanted. so, let's begin. I have already written about the history of graffiti and i won't repeat it again. I will speak about styles. There are three main styles in graffiti: 1) Wild style - one of the most difficult styles but one of the most popular among graffiti writers. This style is very very beautiful but you wont understand what was written by this style, because the beauty - is the main thing in this style.
2) Bubble letters - it is very simple but stylish. All writers began their graffiti career from this style.
3) Fx style (or Maim-style) - very very difficult style. It is difficult to write and then to paint it. Letters are in 3D format and sometimes it seems that you can touch them, but it will be in case if the writer paints every letter perfectly.
I adore graffitti art. For me it should be dome well, just beautifully. Graffitti, born in the street, has come into our daily culture as banners, ads, posters, labels, illustrations, photograpphy, painted physical objects, etc. There is always a thought, a message and an impulse in such paintings. "Look, isn't it just nice and eye-catching?" is already a thought that makes you look at the world through the eyes of the beautiful.
Fx style seems to be a synthesis of two different trends in art: graffiti and 3D design. So a graffiti painter sticking to this style should be not only a skillful artist, but a bright technician as well. Thanks for the pics =)
