The tatoo symbolizes my devotion both to music itself and to drums specifically. It's only 50 or 60% ready yet, so, soon I'll upload the finished variant!
The only thing I want to say is that tattoo is a pleasure not for everyone - the pain is very strong, especially when the drawing is tattooed on the breast, shins, collar bones and spinal column...
But on other hand - it's worth trying - maybe u'll like this kind of pain and want to get another drawing...)
Some people on the site are now discussing tattooing issues.
Frankly speakin', I really like tattoes since my childhood! I never liked piercing and stuff like that, but tattoos mean something for me.,, maybe it's because I like people, who think before they do something - if you have a piercing, you can always take it off, but if you have a tattoo - you'll have to wear it forever, so you must think a lot before you make it! And maybe it's because I really adore something painted on skin, a kind of mania)
I never ask the question 'Why does the society disapprove of tattoos?" My question is quite simple - Why do you want to redesign your skin? I can give a lot of 'whys' that will sound disapproving or approving, I don't care. I want to know why you're tattooing your body surface. To write a song to make the song art richer, or to paint your body to make you different....I like tattoos.
BTW, I've arranged the next tattoo-session on Saturday, the 25-th, so the tattoo is going to be almost finished (the final correction-session will be hold in January, 2011)
VA, the question is "Why does the society diapprove tottoos?" Do people really think that tattoos change one's personality, make one more primitive, stupid or antisocial? I believe that it's everybody's own business what to do, or what not to do with his or her body. I don't mean of course that implanting metal horns in one's head or cutting one's tongue in "snake-style" should be accepted by the society, but what's wrong with covering your skin with art-tattoos? Our skin is clear and single-coloured, so we may compare it with a list of paper! Everybody is given a list, so why can't or shouldn't one paint it in his or her way?
If tattoo is part of our communication style that is not shared by all, you intentionallly limit your social sorroundings. To have a few tattoos is accepted tolerantly by society. To completely change the colour or 'design' of the natural skin is 'a message' to yourself and others. Why do you think you want to re-design your skin?
You know what phrase caught my attention? "...to make my FIRST tattoo". sounds like it's just the beginning))) do you really want to make some more tattoos? BTW, good luck on Sunday))))
