I love the look of traditional garland on the Christmas tree but why not get creative and make your own special Christmas tree garland? You would be surprised at what you can turn into garland. Check out these few ideas, then tell me what you make 1 Go the old-fashioned route and string popcorn and cranberries to make a beautiful and fun Christmas tree garland. Make sure you have a thimble, using a needle can get quite painful
2 What about stringing fruit loops to make a colorful garland? They would be easy to string for sure! Just keep an eye on your frisky cat or dog, or the passing toddler who might need a snack
3 What about a colorful feather boa as a garland? If your tree has a color theme, this would be perfect. Try the party stores or the dollar store for the boas.
4 Strings of beads are a good stand-by as always. Try some fancy beads for a different look, or pearls for a Victorian look for a classy garland.
5 Candy can also make a unique garland. Try stringing gum drops or life-savers. Again, watch out for hungry critters.
To tell the truth, all of the balls which are on my fir-tree are quite old. But I think just these toys and balls make a special atmosphere. Nevertheless I'm quite interested in these Christmas garlands so perhaps I'll make something by myself too
They are really cute))) Most of all I like the last one made of fruit-paste sweets - pretty and tasty))) I'm convinced that it's a wonderful idea to make unusual Christmas tree garlands – unique and extravagant, they create the atmosphere of fairy-tale. I can also add, that when I was a schoolgirl I used to make Christmas tree balls using only gold and silver foil. I do think that this year I'll definitely try to decorate my Christmas tree with some hand-made balls and garlands.
wow))) a very interesting and actual topic nowadays. To be honest my Christmass tree is not decorated yet, but i think that tomorrow it will be veeery beautiful))
