So, after a veeeeery veeeery long break I decided to continue.) This time I would like to talk about the anime called "Black Buttler" or "Kuroshitsuji". In my opinion, it is a masterpiece! Drama, blood, cruelty are intertwined with humor which made me laugh until one cries) So, let's begin. Kuroshitsuji. Firstly, it was a Manga written by Yana Toboso in 2006. In October, 2008, a anime-series based on the manga came out. In July, 2010, the second season appeared. In this post I am eager to discuss the first season of Black Buttler. When I began to watch this anime, to be honest, I didn't expect that I would fall in love with it. It doesn't contain any kind of moral or deep sense. It is entertainment for spectators. According to wikipedia, I think it will not be superfluous to talk about the specific characters of this anime. Angels. In Kuroshitsuji Angels have no sex. They can be either man or woman. Angela Blaur / Ash Landers is a fallen angel who killed Ciel's parents. Сiel and Sebastian fight with her/him throughout the first season. She/He has a goal to "cleanse the world from the evil". Shinigami/Reaper Gods of death. Take people's lives who identified in lists by "death scythes". Scythe can have any form and kind. Undertaker. It is legendary Reaper who checked out and became the owner of the funeral home. He has a rather strange appearance. I'd say "kawai'' He doesn't take money but provides information only after smb makes him laugh. But it's quite difficult) Only Sebastian can make him laugh. Another Reaper without whom the anime loses its comical effect - Grell Sutcliff Firstly, his scythe was a petrol-powered saw. But then it was replaced by a pair of small scissors. Grell is crazy, he says ravings very often. Also he fell in love with Sebastian. But return to the plot) The action itself takes place in Victorian England. The Protagonist is Ciel Phantomhive, having the nickname "Queen's chain dog". He stands guard over Her Majesty and fights with criminals but in his own way. He closed a deal with the demon and got the perfect buttler and bodyguard. In the capacity of pay Ciel gave the demon his soul. So, the demon, the best buttler, Sebastian Michaelis. He follows all orders of Ciel. He is beautiful in his human face.) The soul of his owner has a great value to him. He takes care of Ciel. Besides, I'd like to add that every series is the small adventure that has continuation in the next episode. So,if you see this anime, I think you will understand why I like it very much)
Oh, it is one of my favorites.When I began watching, I did not think that it was interesting, but later I fell in love with the world of "Kuroshitsuji".These characters are quite original,at least I have not seen anybody like them.Most of them are eccentric persons,especially my second love Ciel Phantomhive (my first love was L from Death Note )
i watched this anime a long time ago but remember all the moments... i like it very much)) Nikky, i saw the second season and i agree with you and Madara that it is worse than the first season. Teacher, my mother watches anime sometimes if it is very interesting) she saw Le Portrait de Petit Cossette, Death Note, Elfel Lied, Trinity Blood and many others strange anime with blood and battles ^__^"

I saw the second season long time ago^^ It's a bit worse than the first one, in my opinion. But at the end I was completely satisfied, but shhh!.. Actually, the new characters are rather disgusting, I don't like them for many reasons>-< And the style of drawing is spoilt, I'm sorry to say. But anyway, I was watchihg Kuroshitsuji with pleasure. Actually, I was watching Kuroshitsuji with my Daddy))))) I can't say that he liked it very much (he prefers Death Note), but he agreed that this anime is quite funny and "brain-relaxing" so-to-say.
I've seen the second season. I liked it. But...I expected smth greater than 12 episodes. And by the way, there were not as many jokes and humor as I wanted...But the plot is rather interesting and I liked the end) If you haven't seen the second season, I advise you to do it. But don't expect anything grandiose.
Yes, I've watched it too. Can't but agree that it's less impressive than the first season. It's different, I dare say. It's not a "buttler-master story" any more and it has lost a lot of its charm btw, watch it if you've watched the first season - to compare and to have your own opinion)))
Yes, I like this anime very much. It's really doesn't have any really deep clever sense but... It's very recognizable because of it's symbols. These symbols are bright and hilarious. This anime doesn't require from you any deep thoughts. And if the other users have not seen it yet, I advise them to do it And as for the second season, has anybody seen it? I heard that in comparison with the first one, the second was a failure. The appearance of new characters spoiled the season. But I have not seen it yet, I can't say what I really think. And if you've seen it, can you share your impressions after it.
