Modern food art
Food became the best thing for creation. More than that, there are a lot of different competitions and exhibitions all over the world.
One of the most outstanding food designers is Jim Victor. He likes to work with butter. Every week he spends hours and hours making different interesting statues from butter. Not so long ago an interesting exhibition was held in America where Jim presented his works from butter, chocolate, spices, vegetables, meat and fruit. He showed about fifty different sculptures: chocolate cars, motor bikes, cheese cows, chicken, bulls, creamy animals from different myths, historical persons that are known all over the world and different things from our daily routine.

Another famous food sculptor is Emma Proodence. This Australian sculptor makes her masterpieces with the help of dough.

What about Russia? Don't worry, we have food talents too. Not so many years ago the Griffon's sculpture was made in Russia in Saint-Petersburg. This was a chocolate sculpture. This sculpture piece weighed 974, 5 kg. The sculpture is in the book of records of Ginessa now.

When I was a child, I liked to make different figures from bakery dough. It was really amusing to see what you can with your our hands and more than that it seemed the little figurines tasted even more delicious than ordinary pies! biggrin

That's impressive!!) Food is really a source of inspiration. It's a pity that these sculptures can't be kept long...
