Gold was the major fashion statement on the red carpet at the Oscars, along with oversized ruffles, beading, one-shoulder styles and updos. Elizabeth Banks wore one of Fall 2010's most popular colors, gray, on the red carpet. The chiffon Versace had a corset top and ruffled bottom. Unfortunately, her makeup was too severe and pale to flatter her fair coloring.
Cameron Diaz was a vision in a strapless gold Oscar de la Renta dress with beading.
Red carpet newcomer Vera Farmiga wowed in a deep red Marchesa dress with dramatic ruffles.
The first dress seems to be a wedding one. But I like the second one very much, it's plain but elegant. The third dress is very bright and its colour is admirable but it seems a bit heavy.
