And now I'm
going to tell about comparably new club – "Dom Kulturi”. It's situated on
Pavlov Street, just behind Pavlov's Museum. "Dom Kulturi” is a mainstay for
designers, painters, photographers, musicians, dancers and other creative
people - sometimes it a disco with DJ and nights there are very hot!) Sometimes
it’s a scene for indie-rock, funk, rock'n'roll and raggey musicians. If you
want to exhibit your photo-works or paintings there - you're welcome) You can
also come and watch an art-house or music movie on Thursdays! This club is a
kind of transformer!)) The club is tiny but very cosy and homelike - there are
shells with interesting books around, an old black and white telly with a retro
game consol DENDY, a chill out... The bar is very good too and prises are very
democratic. There is a special place for smoking, which is good news for
non-smokers.)))
But since
my blog is Everything ‘Bout Music I’ll tell more narrowly bout live concerts.
The administration and the art-director prefer light, energetic and of cource
professional music! Since the moment they started to settle live gigs many
interesting bands have felt the scene, here are some of them:Sakura, MRV, Punk TV, Sunsay, The Toobes,
Markscheider Kunst, On the Go, GDR, Smeh, Vasya Vasin etc. The sound and the
atmosphere are great!
We
performed there once, warming the famous Moscow band GDR and we really liked
that and all want to play there again and again!
To
characterize the club in one word – MUST-VISIT! Really))
