Some interesting facts about people in Spain.
Summer is coming and many people will visit Spain this year. I found a very interesting article about Spanish people and want to tell you about it.
First of all you should remember that Spaniards think only about their nation and any other nation is not interesting and important for them. Some people call them “nation egoists”.
Spaniards are very noisy and even nervous nation. We can see it even from their speech, that is very fast and loud and sometimes it seems that they shout.
Usual Spaniard honors his/her family and family traditions. Moreover these traditions are more important for him/her than work and money.
Traditionally Spaniards have a double surname that is why it is very hard to understand it. Women usually don’t get a husband's surname but children get double surname: the first – the surname of their father and the second – of the mother.
More than a half of all Spaniard were born somewhere else but not in a maternity hospital. Spanish mothers believe that it is better to stay at home as long as it possible and don’t hurry in a maternity hospital.
People in Spain celebrate their birthdays twice a year. The first birthday is the day when they were born and the second is when their saint protector was born. Spaniards get the second name in honor of this saint protector. The second birthday is more important for them.
I've been always interested in Spain, its traditions, celebrations and, of course, Spaniards. These are quite interesting facts indeed)) But I'd also like to tell you about two facts about people in Spain and their country. The first fact is about their traditional dances. I suppose everyone knows that flamenco is the most popular dance in Spain that tells us about the burning and passionate spanish nature. There is even the festival «Bienal de Flamenco» that takes place in Sevilla every two years. And the second fact I'd like to mention is bullfighting that is called "Corridas de toros" though it's mostly popular in San Fermín))
