These amazing Italian islands.
This amazing city in Italia was an inspiration for many artists, designers, actors, writers and so on. Venice is unique because now it looks like it was many centuries ago.

This town continues to live although with some difficulties. But some writers named Venice as “ disgusting green city with stinky canals.”. The canals are really stinky, the buildings there are really green but the biggest part of tourist stayed satisfied and happy , they liked it because it is natural to have green facades of building because of the water and plants there.

When you come there you won’t find any vehicle besides bicycles. There are no roads for public or any other transport in Venice because of the canals and bridges. More than 100 bridges are here. All of them are unique masterpieces and don't look similar. The most famous bridge there is a Bridge of Sighs. People name it so because of the prisoners.

Somerset Mom was in Venice and wrote about it : “There are no more places in the world where you can just sit and look at the sunset and it will give you a pleasure”. He wrote it when he was in Palace Palazzo Pisani-Gritti. This Palace belongs to one famous Italian linguist - Andrea Gritti.

Murano is another island near to Venice and very famous around tourists because of its glass. But it is less known that in 16th century this island was a place for entertainments for local and not only local inhabitants. It was also a place where rich Italians build their houses and villas.

Murano glass is the most expensive glass in the whole world. A simple vase will cost more than 100 euro. But tourists come here and buy everything what they want in spite of this fact.

Burano. Burano island is the smallest Italian island and it is famous because of its cookies and lace. Many famous Russian people such as a wife of our president and prime minister bought accessories or clothes from Burano’s lace.
