British company Airport Parking and Hotels LTD make a list of things, people often left in hotels, rented car waiting rooms of airports. The most ‘popular’ became pieces of clothing and electronic devices. 17 % like to leave cell phones, mp3 – player, game devices or digital cameras. It is interesting, but only 4 % of tourists forget their documents. (I thought the index would be higher). There are some quite unexpected things in the rating, e.g. walkingsticks, prams, pets, dentures or even prosthesis. And what have you ever left in public place?
It seems strange that this is the British research. To my mind, only Americans study a lot of strange things. As for me, I remember that once I forgot my flute in the bus. I suppose, that was the only thing I've ever lost. But I had quite enough adventures
A very interesting statistics! I have never thought that some people could make a whole research out of such a trifle phenomenon. As for me, the most frequent things I probably leave in public places are clothes, umbrellas and... my change at the cashier =)
