30 Seconds to Mars win two prizes at Kerrang! Awards

30 Seconds To Mars have scooped two gongs at the annual Kerrang! Awards including best international band for the second year running.

The American band, fronted by singer and actor Jared Leto, also took home best single for Hurricane.

The legend award went to Ozzy Osbourne with Alice Cooper collecting the icon award at the London ceremony.

The Scottish government is to invest an extra £3.9m in cycling infrastructure over the next two years.

The largest part of the investment - £3m - will go towards the creation of the National Cycle Network route between Oban and Inverness.

And £400,000 will be spent on encouraging children to cycle to school.

The funding is part of the capital projects investment announced by the finance secretary in December.

Armed robbers broke into a central Paris Apple store on New Year's Eve, stealing goods with an estimated value of one million euros (£813,000).

The police said that four masked men forced their way into the shop.
