"It is not proposed to use euthanasia, unless the horse was very sick or seriously injured - and that decision would only be made by a vet, not the council or its contractor."

In my opinion horses’ owners are very irresponsible people. They should look after their horses. It is their duty. I think it is right decision to find a new home for horses. May be they will be happy. Moreover, I think that people can use euthanasia but only if they haven’t another choice.
I like horses. They are beautiful. To tell the truth, I've always wanted to ride a horse. I agree with you that it is right decision to find a new home for horses. "You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed." It's so sad that nowadays most people don't remember it.
The horses are wonderful animals) <br /> Such disputes and "wars" unfold because of horses... It's sad that such a fate awaits horses. After all, horse owners are guilty that their pets roam everywhere. Animals are not guilty!
